Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. How the fcuk did that Everton side take points of City.
The unjustified sending off of Walker, leaving us with 10 men for a large chunk of the game. Even with 10 men, we battered Everton; the ball just wouldn't go in for us that night.

Surely only a matter of time here for City

Long extends his drought to 1,000,000 games

Sure it's been that number of games? Thought it'd be more.

Put it on at 45 mins. Hilarious. Pep teams trying to defend is always hilarious.

We've been sloppy so far. Not sure we deserve to be behind, mind. Hey ho. Time for Pep to light a fire under their collective arses.

Second best defensive record in the PL this season. Do your homework before making such comments.

Huddersfield defence at home is good for a promoted side, now they only need to score 2 more times to get something out of this ;)

When a Pep team actually faces a team who can remotely get at them they can't defend for ****. They usually don't need to worry about defending, on the occasions they do they're awful.

Like Liverpool did, you mean? They had a go at us. How did that finish again?

Like Barca who conceded the least goals in La Liga every season he was there, and every season he was with Bayern too? What teams are you actually referring to?

    Now; time to push on.

    Looked soft tbh.

Huddersfield fans showing themselves up there, booing Raheem. I'm assuming they think he dived. When they see the replays, they'll see we could/should have had two penalties.

    Unlucky there Leroy; cracking effort.

Cut it out Fern; no need for diving. I hate to see it.

Pretty ****e performance in front of goal though - peno and scruffy deflection.

Sign of champions really, not going well in front of goal but drag a result out of it

They're not going to be rip roaring every week. Winning the occasion game sloppy is just as important over a long season

It's the weekend of the jammy late goal.

I'll take it. Just like I'm sure utd fans will take their deflected goal yesterday. Nothing wrong in winning ugly.

The clubs incoming form chasing them is making it more like a sign of champions than winning late.

Job done. Not at our brilliant best, but we can't be every week. Put that game to bed and move on to Southampton in midweek.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,500 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

    Otamendi booked after full time?

And Van la Parra sent off?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,914 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

How do you "turn off" your potential future captain picks in the sky fantasy football game?

I normally just click on the game my captain has just played to keep the captaincy on him
Since there are other games in this gameweek there is no option to do this.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Sane was booked and Van La Parra was sent off for pushing his hands into Sane's face after Sane pushed him away.

No points dropped from City in over 3 months. Remarkable consistency.

Southampton and WHU up next at home. Easy 6 points for them. It's between themselves and PSG for the CL.

    Savage result for City.
I can see Chelsea overtaking United into 2nd in the next few weeks.

City two home matches against Southampton and West Ham next week, United in 2nd have two away fixtures at Watford and Arsenal. We're realistically looking City having a double figure lead come the derby. It's farcically one side this year:(

Is that what it was? If that's so, he deserved the red card. Cheers for clearing that up. Just saw a blow up of the replay for the penalty. Not sure what the Huddersfield fans were booing about.

We can't be relying on other teams dropping points; it's up to us to keep taking care of business.

Pep has improved sterling no end. They weren't at their best today but are a joy to watch. Streets ahead of everyone else this year.

Cant see them beating psg, madrid, barca with otamendi likely to do anything, kompany not himself lately either, way too good for anyone in the premier league tho

Hopefully Stones will be back long before the knockout stages of the CL. Before his unfortunate hamstring injury, him and Otamendi (yes, that Otamendi!) had formed a decent partnership.

I wonder if Phil Neville still thinks his mate unsworth should get the job.

Ya stones has become very important. It will be interesting to see how they get on against a team that can match their possession and are made concentrate and defend for sustained periods

Who would match them in possession at the moment? Barca maybe?
