Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's had a shocker of a game. Missed a clear, blatant penalty on Mangala, and he's just missed a clear red card by Kane.

Not a red there either for me. Bad tackle, but a yellow was the right call.

Good chance for Spurs there, with the first decent spell we've had.

That Kane challenge reminded me heavily of spurs meltdown against Chelsea a few seasons ago. Last couple of moments they've been rash in the play and decision making.

    Spurs
Rose's decision making and final product has been abysmal

But the Otamendi decision was excellent of course.

In my biased opinion, that wasn't worthy of a red. But let's play your game, okay? We've had one iffy decision in our favour, and two blatantly p1ss poor ones against us. But hey; according to some opposing fans and managers, we get all the 50/50 decisions.

    Spurs losing the head again.

    Nasty nasty from Alli.

Kane and Alli with two ankle breaking tackles and both still on the pitch.

    Spurs are pure filth today.

McManaman with English rose tinted glasses. That's another red

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

    That was probably a red.

    This ref needs to demoted.

    Arsenal
Rubbish keeping there. Easy stop there for most keepers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Spurs trying to kick us off the pitch this evening. Kane and Alli could/should both have been sent off.

    Anyway; get in!
    :D

Got away with saving the Sane shot with one hand. City much better side though. Spurs have been so poor.

He's abysmal. If you count Ota's challenge (iffy but, for argument's sake, we'll count it), he's missed 3 red cards and a blatant penalty for us.

    Blatant dive. Justice done.

2 sitters missed by Sterling so far in this game.

Sterling having a non finishing sort of day.

It's the Raz of 18 months ago this evening. He's had a very poor game.

Sterling seems to be playing the imaginary defender role of clearing when the goal is gaping and you have to have avoid conceding the own goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

    Liverpool
    Seriously?

Have a look at it again. He threw himself too the ground. Easy too see.

    Knew he'd score. :pac:

City are stupidly good. That's what unlimited money and the best manager in the world gets you.

Someone obviously hacked my account there!
3-0, and Spurs couldn't complain if it was 5 or 6. Immense gulf in class. Actually, I'm surprised at how poor Spurs have been tonight.

He was caught. Clearly shown from the replay behind the goal. A def pen.

The other Manchester club can say the same about money and manager but City are light years ahead of them as well.

Gündoğan was class. Had actually forgotten Silva wasn't even playing.

Pep is a better manager imo, and he has the right players to play his style of football. And that style of football is extremely effective.

    I agree with you there.

But Jose knows and has won this league a couple of times and even with all the money in the world to send and he is spending it he is still so far behind Pep.

If we'd had our shooting boots on, this could easily have been 6 or 7. That's something we need to improve on, as there will be games where we won't get as many chances as Spurs have coughed up tonight.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

4th goal summed up Spurs today; soft and utterly useless.

Can't see Spurs making top 4. I reckon this is the end of the road for this Spurs side.

Fair play to City, they are an excellent side.
Spurs, well same old Spurs in a lot of ways, a no show in a game v a top side.
One feature was a nasty streak in the Spurs side, a number of nasty, sly, dangerous tackles by a number of different players, and not just the usual Deli Ali leaving the foot in.

Ya, nasty in a cowardly way, not tough enough where it matters
