Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty tough on Swansea having to play Spurs who have had 6 days rest compared to Swansea's 2. Stinks actually.

West Ham well rested for their match tonight too.

Then Spurs play West Ham on Thursday night, so it has worked out well for those two.

McClean scores now too, they're all breaking droughts tonight.

McClean's first goal in 16 months. Big deflection.

Sure he scored a big deflection on Sunday!

If that rain keeps going at Swansea, I'll be surprised if the game isn't abandoned. Even the ducks are wearing life jackets!

Yeah, i can see it being called off. It's already all over the place, with one side the ball skipping along, and the other stopping dead. Could become unsafe for the players, if the ground gets any worse.

But the piece you quoted never once mentioned it being career ending? It was most defiantly far from average too, but I agree it got much more attention that Kane & Ali’s from City v Spurs which was far worse!

Exactly. And nobody on here said anything about career threatening either. He actually seems a bit butthurt that KdB isn't injured.

Nearly 3 there. Kev hit the bar with a free kick.

What game are you watching? Man City, i'm guessing. Didn't realise that was on tonight.

Should have been a penalty at the other end right before that.

Swansea well up for this, and Spurs really not playing well.

Classic player should have gone down moment for Swansea.
Sanchez should be off for spurs too.

Now a player on with socks rolled down. Hope he scores.

To be fair, Sanchez should have been booked for that. He should never have been booked in the first half, as that was a joke of a call.

Ref, once again, has been poor.

Kane is a phenomenal passer. Some of the balls hes played this year have been truly remarkable.

Unreal pass. His passing game has improved dramatically this year.

It’ll take time for him. Them players are drilled to the floor with Tony Pulis’ philosophy of playing. Pardew was brought in to change that, he’ll need to bring in 1 or 2 this month but I think he’ll turn it round there.

Hughes to West Brom and Pardew to Stoke before the end of the window.

Wasn't a lot of Pardew's success early at Palace built on the foundations Pulis left?

Could make a case for that I guess. Pulis was there a little over 6 months though so they weren’t engraved as much with his ideas I guess. Must be nearly 5 years at the Baggies surely?

To be fair, they did. Foster was inspired for West Brom.

Failing that he should have strained every sinew to square the ball to his teammate

As Eamon Dunphy recently said to John Giles after having a particularly dodgy rant about Man City thoroughly debunked “that’s your problem. You always resort to logic.”

Not sure West Broms ills can all be attributed to being indoctrinated in Pulis’ methods. Still fancy Pardew to turn it around though. I know he’s an odious individual but there’s something about Pardew I can’t help but like. Maybe it’s simply that 1990 winner v Liverpool that shut my cocky mates up or maybe it’s that legendary dance in the Cup Final.

That's only one of a list of things he's done.

Jake Livermore reacting quiet passionately to something a West Ham fan said to him as he made his way to the bench

Wasn’t he also supposed to have gotten the Newcastle job because he beat Ashley in a poker game so he cost Chris his job.

Will be interesting to hear what that was. He lost is completely, so I doubt it was the usual banter.

That Irish footballer really really escaped any bad press.

The good guy image just an act.
