Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is the QF draw on SSN or are they going to do it at 4.30am in Pyongyang?

On a stream I had, they said it was live on Twitter tomorrow at like 4 or 5 pm UK time.

Just saw on BBC that arsenal and city games may be replayed due to them making to many subs in extra time. Surely that didn't actually happen?

Don't see anything on BBC about this?

Clubs allowed 4 Subs in this competition if the game goes to ET

Think the confusion comes from whether the 3 subs need to be made within 90 mins and then only one in ET. While City and Arsenal did 2 subs in ET.

    Looks a nothing story though.

It was mixed in through some transfer rumours section, I only saw it through fb.

As Unearthly said, they may have done it a different way hence the problem.!

Other teams have made 2 subs in extra time in earlier rounds and those games were not replayed and nothing happened

West Ham 2-0 down at halftime to Spurs are 2-3 up with ten minutes to go.

It was especially nice as I backed west Ham to win at half time when they were two down :D

Do you reckon they heat the Man U ball and freeze the Bristol City one, or the other way round? :)

Don't care so long as that's the draw and United are at home!!

Well, it's known as the Mickey Mouse Cup so why not have a Mickey Mouse draw?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,179 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Fairly dreadful carry on. The draw was supposed to originally take place at 4pm. Then it moved to 5pm. And here we are at 5.40pm and still nothing has happened. Very amateurish.

    Carabao Cup quarter-final draw

    Chelsea v Bournemouth

    Arsenal v West Ham

    Leicester v Manchester City

    Bristol City v Manchester United

So they finally "fixed" the draw. I just knew Man United would draw Bristol City. And funny how Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and Man United all avoided each other. What were the odds on that happening?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,388 ✭✭✭✭Jayop

The big 4 left in it all kept apart. Should they all progress it'll make for good semi-finals and a final.

Indeed. The more cynical side of me would wonder what the odds were on that.

So, the draw is delayed 100 minutes, it ends up being pre-recorded, the 4 best teams avoid each other, Man U get the ‘easy’ draw and a Chelsea get Bournemouth at home...as people were saying on Twitter before 5pm!

    Nothing to see here folks!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Top 4 sides kept apart after a "delayed" draw, ya couldnt make it up. :pac:

Happy enough with that though, should get to play some of the youth/fringe players for another round at least.

Brutal decision.... no Graham Poll to comment on this. Sure no need.. it blatant dive.

Terrible decision. A 2 game ban coming up I reckon

How can Man City players be sprinting like that after nearly 120 mins of football?

Those young lads for MC have a long way to go before stepping up to the first team....really look like Sunday league some if them

The quadruple lives on for City. Bravo the hero in a shootout once again. He's a great record in them.

Yaya must be one of the best penalty takers ever. Can’t recall him missing any for City? Never looks like missing one either.
