Beko D/Oven glass pane door unable to put back

I need help please! Took apart the two panes of glass on Beko d/oven electric door for cleaning. It's only 5 years old. Problem, I can not put them back together again. The simple strip that clicks in to join the two panes together on top will not click in for me. I'm so frustrated and I want to cook me dinner! Help…
