Wales, Liverpool travel ideas

    Hi Guys,

    Planning a 4 day trip to Wales (family and a 5 year old kid).

    Will be taking Stena and then driving. Confused as to take go towards Liverpool+lake district direction, or towards Birmingham or South towards Cardiff.
    Don't want to driving too much. That leads to too much crying from the back car seat passenger .
    All ideas Welcome.
