Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Goals everywhere. Gotta love the goal show

Shout of 3-0 , then richardson tries to pretend it didn't happen so it can be a surprise when it cuts to it:) " goal at Wembley, don't tell us about it" :)

No point living in denial. The chances of him still being at United in 2 years are slim if history has taught us anything.

You may get Fergie down to London to have a few more meals with the Spurs manager then :P

Callejon should have scored. Super save from Ederson.

And Aguero then scores at the other end! Amazing passage of play.

    That's the record for Aguero.

Some game between Napoli and city once again.

Napoli should have taken the lead and then city went up the other end and aguero scored

Are we heading back to a period of dominance for the English team. There should be 5 in the last 16.

Fair play tonight. 3-0 against one of the best teams there's been. Go enjoy it.

Hard to know at this stage. Some of those teams had very easy groups. Should have been 4-0 to Spurs there. Where was this performance on Saturday?

I think so, money talks with a lot of it in the premier league.

Also if PSG don't win it this year it'll be a shock

Would be such a shame to see Napoli out at such an early stage.
Rarely a dull game watching them play, so here's hoping they can pull off at least a draw.

The two "punches" being the first one??

If that's what you mean there's no way to know if Demebele's was on purpose, but Ramos retaliation 100% was. The Ramos mouthes to the ref. Then Ramos claps the ref. 1 yellow awarded.

Yeah for the lung on Ramos he was a bit lucky.

City's record in a really tough group has been very impressive. They're passing every test this year. With the Madrid sides looking weirdly poor they could easily be finalists.

Lads like Weigl and Auba almost certs to leave sharpish. City apparently snooping around Weigl already

A chance Dortmund, Napoli, Monaco & Atletico could all be out at the group stage. Surprised at that.

Wouldn't mind seeing him rock up at City next season.

I hope there will be an end to the lazy analysis that because there are a few bad teams in the group stages every year, that it somehow undermines the champions league format as a whole.

Hugely entertaining tournament so far (and some all-time classic knock-out games last season), with the goals flying in. Napoli-City and Spurs-Real alone tonight, with Chelsea-Roma serving up a cracker a few ago as well.

PSG banging in the goals in their group, and a goal-laden Group G too featuring the surprise-packets so far, Besiktas.

Okay, United don't exactly get the pulses races in an average group, but otherwise it has been essential midweek viewing.

And while Anderlecht, Benfica and Feyenoord remain on zero points, the relative paupers of APOEL and Qarabag have banked the same tally as neutral's favourites Dortmund and Monaco, and only one less than Atletico Madrid and Napoli!

You'd be sick if you topped your group and ended up drawing Real in round 16. You'd assume they'll have their act together by that point and be a nightmare draw for a group winner.

City are the best equipped side for a genuine attempt at the quadruple I've ever seen.

There strength in depth is just scary. Toure, Bernardo and David Silva,Jesus and Walker was who they could call on,tonight if things were going wrong. So many gamechangers.

Can't see us doing it. Too many games, an immense workload on the squad. Plus, in my opinion, we won't win the CL anyway. Pep is of the "you score two, we'll score three" school of thought. Now that may well work in the PL, but the likes of Bayern, Barca and Real won't let in three.

They've still a long way to go to be anywhere near how good Peps Barca were at their height, but hard to find too many faults so far.

Decent chance it will be an English team that will draw them.
