Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aurier seems very poor in general...

    Great save from lloris

Either side of keeper and that's a ghoul .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

    Should bury that.

Ben Davies offers very little in attack. He and Aurier the weakest links for Spurs

    scissor tackle on Higuain

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Aurier is good offensively but defensively he's suspect and it shows at this level. His temperament is also poor too. I remember a game last season for PSG where he was to come on as a sub and it genuinely took him about five minutes to get himself sorted. Never seen anything like it.

Never a dive. Ref having a weird match. Didn't give Aurier a yellow earlier for that pen

You can says Spurs missed 1 glorious chance, but Juventus have missed 3 sitters.

That type of defending annoys me so much, Juventus are deep in their half Higuain is going no where, make him do something to beat you don't just give them an easy way out of their half.

He has some engine for a man who doesn't look like he'd have much of an engine.

    Spooky if true..

What's people's beef with BT, a British broadcaster, having bias towards a British club?! If there was an Irish club in the CL, you can be damn sure RTE or TV3 would be the same.

KANE going to ground again, no one sees why

Must be nearing the time Pochettino throws on Son or Lucas as Juve tire.

    Level now

I'd get Son on for Deli Ali now and go for the win. Terrific Spurs performance but Aurier is poor and Ali has been anonymous all night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

What kinda wall was that, crazy stuff. Clear view of goal of 6 feet.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,152 ✭✭✭✭KERSPLAT!

Juve throwing this away, could struggle in Wembley.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Barr

The least Spurs deserve , far better side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Ray Houghton called it on TSN, the top players go low here .....
    Great comeback from Spurs

Juventus paying for being a bit too pedestrian. When Spurs up the pace they are much the better side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

Get in! Spurs trying to recreate man United’s comeback in 1999! They were also down 2-0 early!

    Buffon really poor there

Go on Spurs, now for a winner...

Credit to spurs. Serious balls to get back into this and could even win the tie now

    Juve "doing a Spurs" here...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Buffon really poor there

He had clear shot on goal though, I bet he could not believe what he was facing. No need to curl it around wall, no need to go over wall, no need to go under wall. Just pull trigger straight into goal and beat keeper.
Worst wall I've ever seen in a football game.

This kinda stuff happens at the back when you try replace top players with the likes of De Sciglio and Benatia.

Kinda got that impression too but he seems to be a Liverpool fan. People in glasshouses and all that...

Not having a dig at you btw!

The keeper is responsible for the wall

2-2 it ends. Very good game, especially the first half. The Wembley game should be a cracker.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,855 ✭✭✭irishguitarlad

Spurs 100℅ to go through now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,702 ✭✭✭Glebee

Spurs 100℅ to go through now.

Never put Spurs and 100% in the same sentence.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,860 ✭✭✭DeanAustin

This is a Juve side with players who win league titles and complete in CL finals. The winners of the North London derby ain't gonna frighten them.
Spurs are a good side, just not as good as the media hype suggests.

How right you were. Don’t know why we bothered even turning up.

Long way to go in the tie but I hope you realise how stupid your post is.

Exactly right. As stupid to write Juventus off as it was to write Spurs off after 10 mins. Long way to go.
