Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Madrid really do get a lot of desicions at home. Let's not pretend it doesn't happen.

Careful now, you’ll be getting told off for being a “conspiracy theorist” saying truthful things such as that.

EDIT: ah never mind, it’s already happened. :pac:

The conspiracy theories about Real getting hometown decisions by European referees are so childish.

Ah come on man. Last year was a disgrace. Soft goal.

I can't get over how bad the defences are, that sule is one of the slowest players I've ever seen. Ramos is a shambles and I honesto y think he'll cost Spain in the WC. Liverpool if they make if to the final shouldn't fear any of the 2.
Liverpool will beat madrid. They won't give them the too much respect that Bayern have been so far. Madrid are there for the taking and if it's Liverpool v Madrid, Klopp will send them out to have a go at them and they'll win.

    Pretty bad.

The Bayern keeper was also at fault for the 1st goal, but this is calamitous

I have had this literal discussion with you before about Manchester United. Follow through this line of thinking and the logical conclusion is what? Corruption of some sort? Its not even worth discussing. Its the usual nonsense that people get into in all sports when the big team does well.

Can only imagine what Heynckes is thinking right now.

Even though you give them a huge chance at scoring from an indirect free, you simply have to put your hands on the ball at that stage, it’s a guaranteed goal otherwise. So he made two awful decisions there.

That's such poor concentration. The top goalkeepers stay tuned in for the full game.

Thought Muller should have shot there but decent from Alaba. Bayern need a goal soon to lift them

Looks like the keeper had switched off, thought he could handle it, then remembered he couldn't, then panicked and tried to kick it the last second. Poor concentration.

Madrids defence is there to be got at.

Oh man, that was actually pretty hilarious... you can't help but laugh at it like.

I know split second decision making is tough at times, but how do you possibly decide that letting it run through for the striker that's bearing down on you is better than just giving away a free in the box?

But more than that, why the bejesus is he not coming storming out to put his foot through it altogether?

Anybody that says that Real didn't get decisions last year is at it...lad.

Bayern are surely due a decision to go there way against Real.

It's human nature that refs are heavily influenced by big teams. I never said it was corruption. Do you think Madrid have got more favourable desicions than other teams in the past few years. I have no agenda against Madrid I couldn't care less about a Spanish team.

They are playing against other big teams though ffs. If your argument is that all big teams get favourable decisions at home, you'd have more of a point - even if I still disagree. But to single out one or two teams, as though refs have this pressure hierarchy in their head where they inherently feel more pressure than against other big sides, oisjust conspiracy theory nonsense. Its loser talk, as it's easier to believe you lost or that the other team is better because of outside forces than to acknowledge their superiority.
