Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are you on about Higuain not moving up top for Juve?

Simple game. Had we went for it with a stronger team, we might have hit another 2 or 3.

Bad night for tic. 0-5 down and UEFA will be on their case as a result of that fan incident.

Jesus Atletico should have won that. What a miss there.

Delighted to see Messi finally booked for that, he's always at it and gets away with it everytime. Well done that ref.

Same. He has been booked before for it though. Possibly twice before.

Needs to happen to players more frequently.

Aside from the obvious financial benefit, it's looking increasingly difficult to see what fans of a club like Celtic are getting out of being in the Champions League.

The gulf in terms of finances is leading to major mismatches (Chelsea vs Qarabag tonight is another one).

It's getting to a stage where it feels like the club equivalent of watching Andorra or Liechtenstein taking on Germany or Spain. Financial fair play has been shown to be a joke and I see no way to bridge the gap.

Was that Felaini's best game for United? He opened up the game and was involved in all three goals.

Very early days but Barca have been the standout team in Europe so far this season.

Ya think? Looks to me like they're done without Messi.

Yeah you're right. If he gets injured Barca are screwed. He ran the show tonight.

They could be in trouble after that.

Idk, they're far better balanced this season. Obviously without Messi they'd be severely impacted but they'd still be rather good imo. Messi is back in a false 9 like role this season. Were Messi injured Valverde would very likely try to set up the team a similar way with another player playing there. It's not like he had Messi at Bilbao and structurally they were very sound. Just obviously with players of far less quality.

Right now though the system suits Messi and Busquets to a tee.

12 goals scored none conceded in 4 league and Cl matches including a finalist from last season would suggest they're doing one or two other things right so far too.

I know this forum are eager for their decline but afraid they look in rude health.

In reality there isnt a way
The only way for Celtic to have at any stage become a big player was move to England but thats well dead in the water
I suppose its the same as Iceland in international level they could shock someone

Bad form by Neymar after the game by not shaking that young lads hand.

There decline will be shown at the end of the season
They may win the Kings Cup but thats about it for me this year
A big factor today was Juventus having one defender from last years they will come strong as the season goes on

To be fair that young lad appeared to be trying to wind Neymar up all night.

We have no idea what was said during the game on the pitch, maybe Neymar had good reason not to shake his hand?

    Yes, he is a richard

Why does he have to shake Ralston's hand ? Ralston basically spent the entire game making fouls when he was outclassed, at least 3 dangerous tackles on Neymar included.

Never a peno in the benfica - cska match. Poor decision.

Ref was appalling- I was at the match and not only was that not a penalty, Benfica were denied two clear penalties themselves.

    Zikhovic is some player

Probably pitched one of his many daft questions his way. Lad hasn't got a clue about football. Can't watch football on TV3 when he is presenting. Souness is a very good pundit. Good catch for TV3. I think he will move to RTE when Dunphy or Brady pack it in.

Long overdue at this stage. 11 fines in the last 5.5 years apparently.

Meh, I've seen them play one match and it was last night. Suarez looked very blunt and they had little joy on the wings save for Messi being his brilliant best. I don't like Barcelona I'll admit, but I'm just basing my posts on what I've seen.

I could have sworn he didnt and it was Alves/Bonnuci/Chiellini/Sandro
Even still Alves and the anchor Chiellini gone
I would back Juve to go further than Barca, if Messi goes down for me they are ****ed

Shocker off a offside decision by the linesman in Spurs Dortmund game. PEA clearly onside for that goal

Clear on side by Aubameyang, bad decision by the linesman

Yeah, terrible decision by the linesman there. Spurs extremely lucky (even though we should be 3-1 up now).

Is the Sevilla manager a bit touched in the head? Second time he's thrown the ball away and rightly sent to the stand.
