What happened in the Clock Pub on Thomas St last night?

Was staying in a friend's gaff on Thomas St last night and as we were walking to it, some time after midnight (can't remember exactly but it wouldn't have been THAT late) the whole pub and the pavement outside it was cordoned off with the blue and white "Garda, do not cross" tape. Two Garda cars and an ambulance all with their lights flashing were parked outside.

Leaving the gaff this morning and the pub as well as its section of pavement were still cordoned off with the aforementioned tape.

Anyone hear anything or know what might have been going on? Looked like something fairly serious whatever it was.

Stabbing or robbery maybe. Obviously not serious enough to hit the news.

Passed it this morning as well, seemed to be alot of blood on the pavement

Passed it last night around 11pm and just the one garda car - pub was closed so must have spilled out from the pub or something.
