Weather mightn't be toooooo bad....from Met Eireann

"Thursday: For the western half of the country the bulk of the day will be dry and bright with good sunshine. However showery rain will affect many parts of Leinster and east Ulster through the course of the morning but drier and brighter conditions will develop in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees. Winds moderate to fresh northerly in direction"

There's an after party in Fibbers apparently! :)

Free in but not sure of much else about it!

In fairness anywhere can open their doors and call it an after party, we'll probably stay on this side of the river.

Are you sure this is all standing? Going up with a couple of friends who say they have seats. I guess I'll be wandering around alone at the gig LOL

no seats I am aware of, unless its some special VIP section. More likely their ticket has a number on it which they mistakenly thought it was a seat number, this comes up quite a bit as a question on here.

    No seats for this...
    It's literally a big field!

As said above, seat nums are used just to count numbers!

What do you guys recommend to wear to this concert??

Seeing as it will most likely rain I say the ground will be really mucky.

I don't usually buy tickets for outdoor events here, the weather today and the forecast for tomorrow shows why. Standing in mud, damp and cold for 4 hrs+...as another user said: buzz kill.

I can handle a bit of mud but I really hope the rain holds off.

Looks like it's gonna be very muddy - wearing old runners that'll be binned when I get back to the car!! Seriously, I'm bringing a change of clothes in the car just in case it's really bad. This is the first time I've attended an outdoor gig so I'm just going with the flow.

I suppose it's wishful thinking that they'll put down some of that temporary plastic flooring you sometimes see?

Was planning to head off to the pub afterwards, but probably heading straight home to a hot bath :|

A pint is just as good as a hot bath lol!! Whatever the weather it shouldn't stop everyone from having a good time. At worst I say it'll be showery and cloudy doubt there be a heavy downpour but i'm no expert :/

No such thing as bad weather only bad clothes

but has it been raining in Dublin a lot the past few days? I can't see the ground being a mudfest

Broke my foot a few weeks back and still need the one crutch to walk around. Will they let me in with the crutch? Not missing this for anything.
