What the subject says really - anyone seen any free or two for one offers on the home & garden show that's on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Ballybrit racecourse?
    Thanks!

Today's Galway Independent has a 2 for 1 voucher on page 17. It says you save €10. The voucher is only valid on Friday though, between 2-8pm.

Has anyone been? Half thinking of going to it today but there isn't much info on what is actually there. Is it worth going to?

It is ok. Any more than €10 in would be way too much. €10 was too much really.

Three or four garden centres have brought their full shops. There are some manufacturers of timber sheds/gates/kids garden sets. Stall with random stuff on them - solar power, super clean mops, name plaques, and so on.
About 6 animal-related stalls with a ring for a dog show.
Circle of maybe 8 food trailers.
BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Peugeot, Citroen, Kia cars on show.

That's it in a nutshell. If none of that floats your boat, don't bother going because there is nothing else.

In the process of house purchase at the moment, had considered going along to see what was there, but saw the timetable of what was on and it looked exactly what you describe there.
It seems like it was basically just a garden and dogs show, with a few random bits thrown in.

    Glad I didn't bother.
