    Hi,

Looking for some advice on alarm systems.

I have moved to a new house which has an existing PhoneWatch system. I am wondering is it possible to move to another provider? I dont want a monitored system, but rather an alarm that could txt/ring a predefined number.

    Could anyone advise here?

    Thanks!

It "looks" relatively new i.e. the alarm panel doesnt look old.

Is there any way to check how old it is?

Most of the newer version Concords would have a domestic dialer but that just rings and omits a series of alarm tones. No real info other than the alarm is going off, the same as adding a dialer. It will ring and let you know the alarm is activating. Only plus side to the dialer is you can add a few number as opposed to one on the domestic dialer.
