BOI to BOI transfer

Hi there,

Just a quick one - if I have cleared funds in my account and want to transfer to another BOI account (held in the same branch), is there a cut off time to ensure same day arrival of funds in the other client's account?

I have the payee's account registered online but the amount exceeds the 20k daily online transfer limit. So I'm hoping I can transfer the required funds with an EFT if I attend in branch - just want to check if there's a cut off time.

Thank you for your post.

Firstly if it is a transfer from BOI-BOI it should be instantly.

However the cut of times both in branch and on 365 online would be 3:30pm.
 
Secondly as it is over the 365 limit you can carry out the transfer in branch. 

When visiting your branch please bring photo ID and the account details. 

We would recommend carrying out the transfer before 3:30 pm to ensure the payment arrives on time.
