We have a new build house in an existing estate. I have tried on 3 occasions now to get my address registered on your database so we can order broadband. Each time I am told it takes 48hrs yet when I get back on to Eir I am told it was not registered and I must wait another 48hrs. Obviously it is not working. How do we resolve?

    Hi V0X,

I am very sorry to hear of your experience with ourselves to date.

Usually, with a newly built housing estate, it can take up to 5 working days to register an address in our system.

Can you please PM me your full name, address and eircode and I will look into getting this registered for you?

    Thanks,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,

Thanks for the reply. I will send a PM now. It is not a new estate just a new build in an existing estate already served by Eir. There is no Eircode for the house as of yet.

    No problem at all.

I will query this for you once I have received your PM.

    Thanks,
    Anna

Hi Guys, 5 months and 1 week on and still no closer. This is the cycle:

    1. Call Eir to get phone line installed
    2. Eir Send out engineer (KN Networks)
    3. Engineer reports what is required to bring connection to house
    4. Eir lose all details of my account and back to step 1.

Anything you can do to put me in touch with someone who can progress bringing a line to our house?

    Thanks.
