    Did they sort out the blockage second time around? It's not clear what your current problem is, or what you want them to do.

    Cover loss of earnings from rent. It's fairly simple.

    Have you asked your solicitor? I'd be surprised if there wasn't something in the contract limiting the builders liability to fixing the issues.

    It would have been fairly simple if you had provided that detail in your original post. Talk to the solicitor who did the conveyancing for you. You'll probably find that the contract you signed would not cover losses like this.

    highly unlikely this scenario is covered. The contract would nearly have to say that you were purchasing with the intention of renting
