    Mind control is only null and void if they use it to fake claim Jessica. And even then it might mean we lose an extra villager.

    I agree, but I think we need to consider that the longer she stays hidden the higher the likelihood that Kilgrave found her. They could also have just decided not to reveal of course.

    Its up to Jess now, I feel if she is there then its up to her to decide to out herself or not. its just my opinion its for the good of the village. Its her call in the end.

    It's not as he will still be able to kill. SK is always bad. They are not likely to kill villagers than baddies statistically

    Pros: it confirms a villager for the village. He has no super power, it gives us someone to rally around and it reduces the chances of us killing an nrv at lynch, wolves may be forced to kill and nrv as he is confirmed good and misses a rolled player.

    Cons: it removes 1 from a list of 26 or 22 as a wolf, for the wolves to find a rolled player



    i think the pros outweigh the cons tbh

    Steve said a few things I picked up on and their reaction to people questioning their claims does make me think this is genuine. However, Kilgrave could've picked someone from the start and laid these things out for us to lure us to killing a fake Jessica and outing Luke.

    Now I believe Steve here but just considering the possibilities. I don't think Luke should come out to confirm or deny this. We will found that out for ourselves if we lynch Steve.

    If Luke comes out now it's a problem for us. If we lynch Steve and they are being controlled then we lose a villager but Kilgrave loses their power. This will be confirmed for us without Luke getting involved. Then if Steve is telling the truth, he and Kilgrave both die.

    Neither scenario need Luke to come out.

    The mention of Luke coming out is the main thing that flags that this might be written by Kilgrave. But it's not enough for me to completely doubt Steve as being Jessica.

    Luke can peek Steve to verify Steve is indeed Jessica Jones. They get their backroom together then to do whatever, but Luke doesn't have to come out on thread.
    They can speak in the back room around who they suspect or not for whatever roles. Might give Luke a steer on posts he may have missed etc.

    The only reason Steve is not Jessica is if we get a counter claim. Batman will sort that problem out.
