TII are going ahead with a planned removal of the Kirwan Roundabout on the Headford Road and replacing it with a signalised junction.

The 5 arms of the roundabout are to be replaced with a 4 arm junction.

The full details are here: http://connachttribune.ie/watch-simulation-traffic-flow-proposed-kirwan-junction-900/

More lights to solve Galways traffic woes. Phew!

The problems of getting western residents to industrial estates on east continue.

Can you think a way to solve that? but it cannot have the word "ring" or "by" in it.
If it was on the west side of the corrib "as gaelige " would be ok, but not on the eastern side. No Polish, German French, Chinese etc.

and words like bus and luas are bike are RIGHT OUT!!!!

Teleportation might work? might be available before we get anything else built. I'm going to follow the M20 page for a while. It's got possibilities!

will the roundabout require a judicial review, you know, saving the last iconic Galway roundabout. Its of historic, even cultural value. the riverside snail, you know the one that supports tunited, could be threatened by removing it.

(I know there are 3 left)

I'll take traffic lights over roundabouts.

the rest, It was a bad attempt at humor, that no one got, so therefore not much use.
