Ever been rescued by the Air Corp?

Anyone who has ever had the misfortune to have availed of the emergency services especially those who needed to be rescued / air lifted and thankfully lived to tell the story will no doubt be full of praise for their rescuers. But all too often both the rescued and the rescuers do not meet again and this is due to a variety of reasons.

One particular group of rescuers are the Irish Air Corp who have put their own lives at risk on occasions in order to save others and would like to meet up again with some of the people who they have helped over the years. To that end they and the ambulance service are arranging a sort of get together or family day at Casement Aerodrome, on August 25.

So if you know anyone who would like to meet up again with someone from the Air Corp or ambulance service who possibly saved their life then the details are on the Air Corp Facebook page. Perhaps you would also consider sharing with all your friends to ensure the message gets out there.
