    Hi,

We've finally gone Sale agreed on a house.
We're finding it difficult to get House and Contents insurance as the property is 130 years old.
I've been told the best way to get cover is through a broker.
Can anyone send a recommendation? I've been through Chill/Quote Devil etc but to no avail. I'm guessing I need someone a little more specialised

    Thank you!

I used <snip> which is a broker. IIRC they charge €100 on top of he premium to arrange the insurance. Basically, you will end up sourcing insurance from a <snip>. If you have a survey, that will be useful as they will question the construction method, when last rewired and replumbed and the extent of any flat roofed sections.

    Thanks for that Marcusm.
I've gotten in touch with <snip>, so fingers crossed they'll be able to take us on :)
