    Incubus:

Feels like forever since Ireland got an Incubus gig. Not a hope in hell of people staying seated for this gig in BGET.

100% agree. Last gig in Dublin 2007 National Stadium was seated as well and everyone was standing.

    Hope to grab a ticket

Yea thought a BGET was a weird venue since they are also doing venues like Brixton which i presume will be standing

I'd say it's a case of the Olympia being too small (and not profitable enough) and the 3Arena being way too big.

We really need a mid sized venue in Dublin.

    it's all a bit loopy,

Wanted to buy a tick for me and the GF to see Christine dance her signature moves.

    Nope.

What is she/promoters thinking? Although she is selling out dates elsewhere and having second nights. I'm confused.

Her live show is fantastic, saw her at Longitude a few years back and then saw her Glastonbury set on BBC. She'll sell for that alone IMO

    Arctic Monkeys, 3Arena, Sept 24th

Why, why, why, Dublin the most in place for all things music, and has the crappiest live arena I have ever been to in my life. WTF - Time to build something with at least a modicum of atmosphere ? Croke Park is top notch btw - rant over

Precisely, the sound in Croke Park is second worst in Dublin, only beaten by the Aviva!
