    Hi,
Does anybody know if current regulations permit a domestic distribution panel to be located in a WC ( i.e. small downstairs toilet with wash basin approx 1m x 2m , no shower etc ). ??
    Thanks.

............this is not a new installation , was just thinking of converting an existing utility room into a WC , house built 1999. The plan would mean the existing distribution panel would now be positioned 2m high on wall directly over toilet . Wash basin would be at other end of room...See some info out there with regard to splash zones for lighting in bathrooms etc. but unable to find anything official that specifically mentions distribution panels.

    Hi there,

unfortunately the rules don't allow a distribution board in a toilet regardless of there being a shower there or not.
