Going to New York City for three nights in August and would love to see a show, preferably The Lion King or Aladdin.
Prices are very expensive however, anybody have any ideas on where I can get cheaper tickets anywhere??

    Much appreciated

Get tickets on the day at the TKTS line in Times Sq, google it. You might not get exactly what you are looking for but you'll always find great discounts there. Also matinees are easier to get than night shows.

Disney tickets don't discount or appear on TKTS unfortunately. If you really want to see those specific shows you'll have to pay full price. For other shows, be warned that the queue for TKTS can be really long.

Supposedly the TKTS South Street Seaport, is the best one for shorter Queues.
