Well done to the organisers and volunteers on this. Great family day out. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, despite the less than perfect weather.

Surprised not to see a thread on here on such a positive and free event.

Took the kids last year and was well impressed with it so kept my eye on it this year. Whole family went out Sat afternoon having been put off by the morning weather. Got there in time for lunch and the 3pm flyboarding show which was quite a spectacle. The sun really came out in force by the late afternoon. Toured the LE Ciara which was staffed by a great bunch of lads. Really friendly, good with the kids, and answered all our questions. Look forward to seeing it again next year.

Very enjoyable event and great for kids and adults as well, only thing I would like to see is a few Foreign Navy ships and a real tall ship like the Argentine Navy one that was in Galway a few years ago the "Libertard" she was a beauty with a crew of 300, well done to all the organisers for a great event, link for the "Libertard" below when she was in Galway. If you go into that website there are a good few pics of her in the docks.
