Can anyone recommend what would be the best TV under €800 but with the best size to price ratio. I would like at least a 43" screen. Actually, if you could recommend a TV at different screen sizes, that would be great.

I don't have anything capable of playing 4K content so the better 4K performance is not a consideration really.

It would need to have good response rates for gaming. Both the HD and the SD picture would need to be decent with the SD not suffering too much due to upscaling etc.

Probably a lot to ask for but all help is welcome.

    Hi Guy Incognito,

In terms of performance on both 4K and SD I think the Sonys are one of the better panels in terms of sharpness and motion processing, especially on an SD picture. They are a little more expensive but have great picture:

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for that David. Unfortunately, the €800 is an absolute maximum on my budget right now.

I was looking on another thread and a rep recommended the Hisense 58KEC730 for 729.00 Euro. The link he gave doesn't work though and I couldn't find the TV when searching on your site to check the full spec and more details about it.  It's difficult to find anything about that particular set online too in terms of reviews etc.

Would you recommend that or any other TVs from that thread for what I'm looking for?

    Hi Guy,

unfortunately the Hisense 58KEC730 is now a finished line unfortunately and we are completely cleaned out of stock - at €729 it was a stunning deal!

Closest to €800 for a 43" with 4K would be the following:

    LG 43UH603 - £399 / €449 - http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202276-43quot-4k-smart-tv.aspx

LG 43UH750 - I only have one of these left brand new boxed, I'd clear it at just £549 / €649 - super specification for that money!

    Sony KD43XE7002 - £699 / €849 - http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202702-bravia-kd43xe7002.aspx

If you wanted a larger screen I have a couple of the Panasonic TC55DX600 left at just £679 / €749 that really are a deal!

Thanks very much for the information, John. I'll have a look through some reviews and then go have a look on your website.

I'm still researching TVs all over the place but I just have question about one on your site. It doesn't seem to have a model number anywhere on the page. Could someone confirm which set this is? https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202442-4k-smart-tv.aspx

Let me know what you think.

I don't mean to derail this thread but I'm in the market for the same spec telly (€700 max. and 43"). I was looking at the LG 43UH750, it looks good. Any boardsie deal around with a longer warranty? Looking for good quality picture on SD and HD content, not bothered by 4K and "smartness". Sat tuner could come handy also.

    Thank you!

    Hey Padyjoe.

We currently have just one of these TV's left and priced as the website at £499. This comes with our free 6 year guarantee which is the longest warranty/guarantee that we offer.

The 43UH750 is a great television for that price :D

Delivery is normally £6.99 but if you want to go for this TV I can drop the deliver charge on it.

    Any questions let me know.

    Thanks Kenny!
I'd have it for £499 with any second thoughts but clicking on the link it comes up with a price starting with 5. ;-) I wonder if I'd go ahead, how long does it take to ship it to me?

    I do apologies Padyjoe.

    I think I may need some glasses :o .

It should indeed have been £599.00 and NOT £499.00
