Is there a nice gym with proper equipment around the city? Which is open on the weekend.
    Any recommendations?

Grove Island, close to the city centre and I think the multi story car park next door does free parking for the first two hours.

prices are not written in their website. How much is it annually? For gym only.

Not 100% sure, you'd have to ring them and I don't think they do gym only membership. Beefit is out by the fine wine party store and they've no pool so it's gym only, member ship is 25e a month I think but they also charge like a one off payment of 5e as a registration fee.

There's the Strand as well, but it's ****e and expensive. There's an opening for a good gym in the city centre, imo.

Go Gym at Coonagh Cross will do so well when it opens. It's close to the city centre and is easily accessible. If their Dublin gyms are anything to go by then there will be a good range of equipment and classes.

Accessible and close to the city centre? Not really...unless you have a car. In which case, you could include most gyms in the city and its suburbs.

The Condell road is probably the easiest and safest road for cycling in the entire city and county. It takes 10minutes max to cycle from city to Coonagh Cross. But yes I see your point its not exactly in the city centre.

15 mins on a bike / 4.6km from O'Connell Street according to Google Maps, and it's on the very edge of the city. It also involves cycling on a short but very dangerous stretch of dual carriageway.

Only ever takes me 10 minutes from the city but maybe I'm a faster than your average google maps cyclist :p

I have a car but living in city centre. So thought better to walk few minutes.

But if there is any really nice gym on the suburbs then i can take out my car. Will use gym 3 times a week (cardio and some weights). Dont need pool or anything else.

Should check out the Training Room, it's not your typical gym but I've heard nothing but good things about it and the guy who runs it.
