Also, I wasn't a GameCube owner, but often played at my friends or traded consoles with them so I have played a lot, just didn't own it.....as such I've no issues about being ruthless or destroying peoples dreams and memories here :P (but that will come later)

Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes.

You take one of the greatest games ever made. Add first person aiming without redesigning the game so that it totally breaks it. Take the cutscenes and make them pants on head stupid. Rerecord the dialogue but piss your actors off so they phone it in. Them make the game in the mgs2 engine but make it run worse than on the far less powerful PS2.

Let me taste the salty tears over this one Never got the obsession with Zelda, I've played 3 or 4 of them and just never got the hype around this series - it's boring. My friend pestered me endlessly to play this, best thing since sliced bread he said - played about 10 mins and handed him the controller back.

I liked it at the time, but yeah... a game that's only memorable if you play it while doing badly (to see the freak-outs) isn't great design.

Yeah, it's just gotten petty and sh!t tbh.
I know I was guilty of it on the Megadrive thread, but that was at the end, when other posters hadn't contributed in like 4 days and I was trying to give it a kick up the a$$.
Just people trying to get a reaction for killing off an obviously decent game which would probably end up in the top 10 instead of going to the effort of taking the bottom ones off the list 1st.
It's a shame when others actually go to the effort of making a list and then posters try to make reasonable picks and such.
And then someone comes in with "Killing Zelda, cause LOLz" :rolleyes:

Also, I did outright admit I'd done it and my reasons why, the Megadrive thread was dead, go back and check the post dates.
I didn't swan in and do it Sonic and Knuckles, Streets of Rage 2 or Golden Axe

Only one I killed that an arguement could be made for was the JRPG, cause honestly, I'm sick of those clogging up every Final 5 list.

So what you want to happen is for people to 'off' all the lesser known games first, leave the popular ones, and then have a list of just popular games so we can go through them? Sounds a bit pointless, no? Might as well just have a list of 10 popular games to start with.
