Help me! I'm very new to music production!

    Basically, as the title suggests I have no experience recording music. I have my Citronic CM4 audio mixer with phantom power, Fender amp, Shure SM-58 mic with XLR cable and an RCA cable to 3.5mm jack. I'm also using the Studio One 3 software. I can't get anything to record or hear anything playback. What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated...

    Hi dude,i can't give u some advise about Studio One 3 cuz i am using
    FruityLoops, but when u fix ur problem.I can advise some
    cool samples and sound effects for ur music projects.
