Thankfully I got sorted in the Three presale.
Yet another balls up by Ticketmaster.
Can anyone explain the logic of having the album presale and the Three presale at the same time ?

It's ticketmasters fault the killers site redirected wrong?
Two presales on the same morning is done for almost every single artist.
They're different links so different webpages, usually with a different allocation of tickets.

It's also unique codes.. so anyone using a code posted here is out of luck once 4 were bought..

Supply and demand conbined with a link feck up is not ticketmasters fault.

Yeah I think there are a few rows behind Block K which are categorised as Block KK. If you go onto mapaplan.com and search for the 3Arena you'll see a picture where they're at the very back, on the very right side of the photo of the seating areas.

Anyone know what the limit is on how many tickets can be purchased in one transaction?

I am aware it is a common practice to have two presales at the same time ,it is a stupid practice though .
Could they not have one at 9 and another at 10 ,so people would have a better chance of getting tickets ?

Was 8 for the first pre-sale, 4 for the album one. Think it was 4 for 3 pre-sale too. I reckon 8 again on Friday.

Probably more than likely what happened, I let them off though in my panicked state with nothing working ,what a mistake row 35 and all ,anyway on to Friday now it seems

Got two seats in Block K in the Album Presale after 45 minutes of the password being rejected.

I also had the Three presale running and got offered two standing but when I clicked purchase, it kicked me back to the start and they were gone when I got back in.

Will be trying on Friday for standing, so hopefully will have 2 section K's for sale!

For anyone who pre-ordered the album, I was able to cancel for a refund with no issues. It'll be cheaper elsewhere.

There is no room to add extra dates in Dublin.
Depeche Mode are there the night before and they are in Belfast the night after Dublin.

A very strange decision to only play one night in Dublin .

I know they sold out Hyde Park in no time but would they be big enough?

Don't think they have the pull for 80K at Slane anymore.

Maybe 50K at the Aviva or 35K/40K at Marlay Park.

Possibly. Would b a similar type draw to foo fighters here I'd imagine but I'd say something like the aviva would be more likely. Just guessing though

How did you cancel? Can't see the option on the page when I check my order status.

    https://shop.virginemi.com/thekillers/help/

Click 'Placing & Cancelling Orders' and then 'How do I cancel my order?'

There's an email submission form to cancel

I think slane is every other year lately so next one could be 2019

Plus I wouldn't be keen to go to slane again even if the ghosts of Bowie and Mercury were headlining

It's a poxy venue to get in and out of

And I missed standing tickets. **** it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,835 ✭✭✭Falthyron

09.03 and, according to Ticketmaster, the event is sold out. I was trying to get standing tickets. Not to worry though, there is someone with 10x standing tickets selling their tickets on SeatWave at more than double the price...

    Fúck Ticketmaster.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,647 ✭✭✭bren2001

Picked up 4 standing no bother.

I was in queue at 8:40 and waited for the timer to go to zero. The page then loaded for 2 minutes before it let me in and it said all standing tickets were gone by 9:02. My girlfriend managed to get them by refreshing the page at 9am on the dot and she got straight in. Ridiculous system altogether.
