Hi, I visited Bank of Ireland today and they wouldn't accept my proof of address document. They said I can give a document I'm an registered voter instead but the website was down while I was in there. Can I give this as proof also on the online application? Thanks for your time.

    Hi mickeyf16,

Thanks for contacting us through Boards.

I would ask that you call our account opening section directly on 189035 44 54 and the advisers there should be able to arrange an email to be sent out to you that you can reply too with the documentation needed to open an account.
You can also apply for a current account online and I have given a link here that can be used to do this.

    Thanks again,
    Darren.
