    Unbelievable. Was that Williams again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Williams turned his head away from it.

Fekitoa was in under posts there if he played on.

Last 4 minutes and it's nothing but 2 kicks. Alas that's the problem with Rugby.

Has a minute and a half to take the kick so that is that.

That's actually probably a fair call. He didn't play the ball.

Complete instinct. Harsh, just like last week's ending.

Poite realising if he ends a great series on that call, there'd be war

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

It's a fair call but is that correct by the rule book??

On what planet is that not accidental offside or a tackle in the air?

There is no outcome where this is an AB penalty.

EDIT: Nah Im just wrong and emotional, he grabbed at it, thought the ball just hit him

I'm wrong twice. Romain is a good man.

Referee seeing what he wanted to see. What a joke.

Read is never reaching that ball, and he makes contact with the man in the air. How is that not a Lion's penalty?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Ohhhhhhh. I was sure that was a penalty.

That should have been a run in. Amazing lack of composure but understandable given the pressure. AB's would have been in there.

Look at his head, he had no idea that ball was coming anywhere near him.

If this swings the Lions way, the salt from NZ will be unreal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Terrible control there from NZ at the scrum. The pressure they've been put under has really caused all sorts of problems for them.

    Heart in mouth moments here

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Christ that was a golden opportunity to counter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Peyper really didn't want to call that in touch at all.

So the series ends as a draw?

So do the AB's win on aggregate or is it a draw?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,814 ✭✭✭irishman86

NZ robbed with that, a choke call by the ref

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

You'd swear they both lost. Great series.

It's time Sky looked for a better commentary team.

    Damp as f**k.

I'm cool with AB's on aggregate if you are?

    All over

    Great drama

    Well done to both sides
NZ best side in the world
Lions showed great heart and a brilliant defence

What a feckin anti climax there needs to be extra time!!!:P

    Brilliant match. Brilliant series.

As good a series as I reckon we'll ever get. Fair play to the ABs.

Noone gave this Lions team a chance, fair play to the coaching staff and players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Neck roll on Faletau in front of Poite at the end.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,184 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I think it's one of those thing where NZ retain it because they weren't beaten.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Well a lot of us, myself included, thought this tour would be 3-0. That's a cracking result for them in fairness. Can't escape the feeling that the Lions stopped NZ from winning more than anything else.
