Warburton gets a lucky call to make up for the first one

How the hell was Warburton given that? Lying on the ground grabbing the ball. Unbelievable. Peyper clearly feels he needs to give the Lion's something, not a chance he couldn't' see that from his touch line.

Was thinking the same, clearly he does yoga to be supporting his body weight in that position :pac:

Baffling decision. Was there an infringement beforehand?

He wasn't lying on the ground...

OK, on his hands....which means he's gone to ground.

Savea is such a beast. Crazy that a man can be that big and strong but still so quick and agile.

Shocking mistake from ALB there, why take the risk?

Thats very different to lying on the ground though isn't it? Jacklers get away with that multiple times a game. That answers your original question.

Were his hands on the ball at the time?

Don't know how Warburton got that. He was stumbling about that ruck like a newborn calf.

No replay of that penalty?? I actually thought the ball was out. Nobody playing scrum half for the lions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 392 ✭✭Sephiral

Warburton, Itoje and O Brien keeping Lions pack in it.

Surely Read should have been sent for a HIA there?

There was no one on their feet

Last two calls have been lucky ones for the lions.

Can't believe you guys are even arguing the point! It's abut as blatant and obvious as it gets.

Watson is seriously good under the high ball.

Class defending there from the All Blacks

Looks like an ankle injury for Sexton. SOB looks very uncomfortable. Not great for Leinster tbh.

If Sexton is gone we're boned

Pity for Jonny. Has been getting up gingerly the last few carries

They're special guest stars at Leinster these days.

Hard to see much of a chance without Sexton. He's really shown his class as tour has progressed.

Farrell might pick up at flyhalf, but he is simply not as good and lions will be narrower. Teo'o might give momentum at least.

    Devastated for Sexton

Really good score. What were the Lions at in midfield?

    Great call

Sexton has I'd say a 30% chance of running that off.

Happened in a tackle. Nothing malicious

That was Farrell drifting in and pulling Davies with him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 392 ✭✭Sephiral

Jesus Johnny, you need two legs to play rugby. They were always hitting him there.

Davies felt he had to come in and help Farrell there. Super offload though to finish of a deserved try
