Think Dan will find this one tough. The psychological factor of not having any support doesn't help.

They updated there to say he's about 20km back just starting the descent but think he still does have people around him.

I was just in the process of editing that post!

How much longer do they support him though. Surely the last big climb will kill him off.

He's well used to that situation though.

I questioned that myself , they risk 3 men.

Mission accomplished for Team Sunweb... Matthews wins the intermediate sprint. Some effort for the 20 points.

He is, although they had a few at the front there earlier. I just get the feeling it's going to go interesting in the next few minutes. Here's hoping I'm wrong about his chances.

That Ad on ITV about the pajamas for Vauxhall is the strangest thing I have ever seen

Kirby saying that Thomas may not have abandoned... Even though Sky have tweeted that he did. Is Kirby just in denial?

Juan Antonio saying disc brakes are a necessity on the descent. So many traditional fundamentalist's heads have just exploded.

Personally think this unwritten rule is stupid, it is the equivalent of racing in F1 and a car having a technical and they all wait for the car to be fixed.
It is the luck of the draw.

  • Registered Users Posts: 471 ✭✭dermabrasion

Do you think the Astana DS told Aru to sit up and wait?
    Quintana was gone.

If it was done away with it would reduce cycling to luck to a reasonable degree.

Totally agree. A running equivalent would be someone's lace opening, and everyone jogging for him to catch up.
