You really love Michaels and do hype them, the score is impressive but most top tier school sides who have trained since the summer would beat a team thrown together. What was the Leinster team like btw? What schools were represented?

Michaels will still choke when they meet Belvo or Rock. They can't do It in the cup
It wasnt schools players it was a clubs leinster side.

how is posting the score hyping them?

ive consistently said until they show up in cup they shouldn't be favourites.

and yes any schools side who has been training all season should be beating a rep side at this stage.

Michael’s JCT lost 31-15 to Pres Cork a few days ago. Anyone know if that was Michael’s full starting 15?

at junior level they aren't playing in the 1A league anymore.. playing 1B, where they made the playoffs but lost in semi finals..

which is well below where they were in years past.

at senior they lost in playoffs of 1A league and have a battle on their hands to make the senior cup.

I can’t say for sure but you have 1, 11, 12, 14 will most probably not be those players and 15 may be wrong, not saying they won’t be playing just not in those positions.

fair eneogh - the school has always been inconsistent with teams year on year in comparison to bigger rugby schools - that team with Porter was the best i remember (by much)

Yeah, but they haven't been at 1B level in a long time.. not an encouraging sign but hopefully just a blip.

why should they bother turning up so..... they certainly have the odds stacked against them for sure and yes my money would go on Rock, however your statement is derogatory and just remember y’all predicted rock to beat Roscrea and win the cup in 2015. Oh and for them to win in 2016, oh and for them to win 2017........

Belvo were red hot favourites last year and Michaels the year before the fact of the matter is you can go on about that all you want but everyone knows Rock will win, and of course everyone will try their best for Cup, lastly you can’t use people saying rock will win the cup and not doing so, to them playing castleknock as the gap between Rock, Michaels, Belvo and everyone else is massive obviously each year a school like Gonzaga or Roscrea might produce a team that will beat one of those but that’s ought to happen based on averages.

Tough for all schools during this time period with Irish camps and provinces use it as a time to view school leavers in traininh with their sub academys
