One month ago you said michaels could put a seconds team out and win ?

Well the standouts have been mentioned several times through the thread already.
Hawkshaw for Belvedere and why just those 4 sides?

Seconds team would hardly have the same Out Half as the first XV!

Was on crutches about a month a month ago

Rolled his ankle vs OB 20s on dec 21st

    Crutches were precautionary.
Number 11 is a fourth year I think

    He’s a 5th year

    3,5,7,10 & 11 are 5th years.

As are the sub scrum half, Lysaght and sub outhalf/Centre, Meagher.

How many of that team, if any (apart from hawkshaw) started in the Belvo SCT team of last year?

    Byron started at 8.
    Hawkshaw started at 10.
With all those injuries do you still think they will win? If they do win will those injured players be back?

Should still have enough to beat Zaga but will be a good game.
    Looking forward to it.

Murphy should be back for 2nd round if they progress.

No known return date yet for Beggy, Mulvaney and Barry

belvo will be way too streetsmart for zaga - easy enogh win.

Pres probably the only 1st round upset - and michaels overall winner.

To what extent do Terenure draft in talent? I know of a couple of high profile lads. Its not a bad commute in from Kildare. How would they go about that and might they have a bit more talent than we think?

    Interesting article here:https://www.google.ie/amp/s/www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/billy-dardis-now-cracking-the-sevens-code-1.3311477%3fmode=amp
About Billy Dardis, a former Terenure fullback, and brother of Sam Dardis. They're both from Naas and have to commute.

    All over

    11-10 Belvo

Not a great performance overall from Belvo but playing the game for 50 minutes without 6 starters was gonna be tough.

    Zaga played well.
Some very good players, 10 was excellent

Hopefully Hawkshaws injury isn't serious, seems like Belvo aren't great without him. Poor scoreline against Gonzaga

Well if missing 6 starters then it's near impossible, no school could absorb that loss

Just home from the match. Very entertaining game, not the highest standard of rugby but great to watch as a neutral.

Judging by the reaction of the players around Hawkshaw when he got injured, and I’m almost positive I could hear him scream with the pain, he won’t be back for the next match
