Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whoever gets Mary's will be happy in the semis but that means little.

    For next season

Should have definitely been involved with the 18’s over summer in my opinion

Really hope Clongowes put it up to them but with a backrow like that I really can't see them maintaining quick ball and preventing turnovers. Penny such a presence on the pitch.

As a past Michaels student I just don't think they have it in them this year. They all have poor attitudes and wouldn't be surprised to see Clongowes do a job on them tomorrow as the pack just isn't good enough. A lot of overhyped people starting tomorrow, would prefer if we could play in the Vinnie Murray Cup so we could actually win something for once instead of just trying to act like a big school

What's wrong with the attitudes? Do they think they are stars ?

Ah didn't see his post count, as an aside I really hope Belvo get Mary's in semi, not that I think Mary's are weak far from it, but Belvos only hope of making final,if they make final then all bets are off

There is a bad attitude there I don't like, but won't get into it on this forum.

Clongowes have no chance against Michael’s, stmc to win by 15 points, stmc have a very strong pack and too much talent in the backline for clongowes to deal with with the likes of Cosgrave, David Ryan etc

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,585 ✭✭✭irishfan9

Fancy clongowes to sneak it and the under performance of stmc to continue

    "Hi,

I'm a Clongowes past pupil and I am going to sign in under different names and tell everyone how much I hate Michaels today.

This is probably because I go to the most expensive school in the country and everyone hates us for it, am spoilt and a lowlife."

By the way Michaels won't lose today.

    It's not.

The likelihood is that its a Clongowes past pupil.

People seem to be really underestimating cwc... this is by far there strongest team since 2015.

    I don't think they are.

I think you're trying to create a premise under which you are underdogs.

    Not so.

No one thinks Michaels are underdogs... it's just not an easy game either.. Michaels should win but could lose.

who cares how hyped or otherwise a team is?

If Michaels don't win, they will get rightly slaughtered by many.
If Michaels win, many will say they will lose at a later stage.

Well Barry Dooley started last game at 8, but assume he has been replaced by Matthew Martin

Most of the hype comes from michaels: it’s quite painful, they are also painful to watch only short of hi fiving a wind change; it’s their cup to lose tho!:-)

Expect excessive 'woo' chants and huddles after every try.

I'm also neutral but I've been to at least part of most of the matches so far and Michael's have been the most impressive team to date in my opinion! This afternoon promises to be interesting!

Clongowes 15 kicked down the pitch, Michael’s break from deep on the right and score in the left corner.

    Well taken try

    Con - missed

    5-3 Michael’s
