Would love to see happen again.

Imagine if clongowes made semi finals. Would have almost been 4 of the most successful schools of all time. The minnow, small school michaels getting in tho

Remember Clongowes only had 1 Cup to their name before 1978. That’s 100 years of failure and shame.

How many did Michaels have before 1978...

Another Clongowes man posing as a Belvo one.

And to top that from your style of posting it’s one Clongowes person posing as numerous people.

Sad little man from a sad little school.

Most of the hype comes from michaels: it’s quite painful, they are also painful to watch only short of hi fiving a wind change; it’s their cup to lose tho!:-)

Better than sniping at your opposite number and trash talking the way the poorly raised Colchis were behaving

Really hope Clongowes put it up to them but with a backrow like that I really can't see them maintaining quick ball and preventing turnovers. Penny such a presence on the pitch.

You’re sad mate get a life and stop pretending there is all these people hoping for Michaels to lose. Sad

Agreed but clongowes will be a tough out

A tough “out”. Is that some sort of Culchie saying?

And then rock to win the 69... think clongowes exposed a lot of weaknesses in this michaels said today, just failed to execute. Gameplan was spot on, hats off to Brett igoe and his team

You do realiste Michaels first set team was circa 76 (could be wrong by 1 or 2 years) 88 final Michaels got to was only their 12th or so team.

Seems to line up perfectly for Rock when you think about it. Lost a bit of confidence and weren't running at 100% at start of tournament but 2 wins on trot and a win over marys but really set them up. On the day would reckon they'd edge michaels. That being said it's Cup rugby anything can happen and Mary's could easily upset. Belvo too depending on hawkshaw.

I think Micheals will cruise past clongowes in the quarters, clongowes we're very poor against a even poorer kings hostipal team, unless there pack really steps up which I can't see happening.

People will dream but with hawkahaw back, new bridge don't stand a chance. They might put up an intial fight but belvo will be to strong.

I think blackrock will just get buy gearads, thought there whole team went missing for the most of the castlenock game and didn't look like a cup winning side unless they have really taken of the break.

Mary's roscrea isn't really going to matter we all know who ever wins this is going to be the easy semi final that said I believe Mary's will win.

    Just my honest opinion[/quote

My predictions exactly right thank you very much

Michaels front five were a dominate unit today so you’d have to expect them to beat Belvo. Can see them falling to the occasion in a rock final tho

Michael’s were dominant in the 2nd row today, for sure.
They have a very lightweight front row and I don’t agree they were dominant.

Michael’s scrum was dominant but for me, that was due to the power coming through from 4,5,6,7&8.

Michael’s went out of the game for large portions of the second half, were helped by some poor decisions by the ref and Clongowes really got at them for a while.

    Semis will be interesting.

Belvo will probably have their first choice backline for the first time in the semi with the midfield looking like

    10 hawkshaw
    12 mulvaney
    13 ogrady

and they love a game against michaels, belvo to win i reckon

How healthy will that trio be?

It will be a good game either way.. if Michaels make final they won't have had it easy..

well i thought mulvaney coped well against newbridge
ogrady only out with a hamstring strain
    and hawkshaw is hawkshaw

Hawkshaw may be hawkshaw but he may not be 100%

Time will tell but, based on their 1st two matches, I can’t see Belvo beating Michaels!

Right great. A 70% player at 10 can still have an off game or be taken advantage off..

standard of hookers very poor this year. Big gulf in standard between Molony and the rest. They don't deserve to play on the same pitch as him

Isn’t Baxter playing hooker at representative level?

Hickey doesn’t even throw and Barron is poor at throwing ,

    I’d go
    Molony
    O’Brien (Marys)
    Vaughan (Terenure)
