New Lawn - Any tips on bedding it in?

    Hi there,

    Today and tomorrow we are getting a new lawn laid (from rolls of grass). I am just wondering if any of you knowledgeable folks have any tips or pointer in relation to giving it a leg up.

    I layed mine about 6 weeks ago.
    Did you put down some fertilizer before laying the grass?

    The only tip i have is to water, water, water. Ensure the sod does not get dried out at any stage until it roots in and even then no harm to continue to water longer.

    Im not laying it myself and its happening at home whilst I speak. I am away with work. I will check it out though thanks.
