Advice re viewing options

    Hi all,

A bit of a lurker here who would appreciate some advice re viewing options to Sky for the coming season. :)

I don't think that Sky will offer the new UK pricing options here (I'm sick of paying their prices for sports channels I don't watch) so I guess it's GamePass streamed to a TV? Do people recommend an Apple TV unit or a direct/wired connection from the iPad to the TV? Or is Chromecast a good alternative? Is The GP service good or is buffering an issue on Sunday evenings?

All advice appreciated and sorry if this has been covered elsewhere: just link me to an earlier thread. Thanks!

I love Gamepass, and using chromecast is perfect. A new company are taking it over this year, so the quality may change, but you'd imagine it would be for the better.

Previously only iOS could download games for offline viewing, but android will also have it in the new system.

The only real criticism is the 30/40 second time delay on it compared to sky or twitter/whatsapp, but that seem to be standard enough on internet streaming!
