I think we need another major outside of the USA because this has to be the least interesting major IMO.

I'd like to see it go back to the old format of matchplay or even strokeplay for the first two days and then the top 8 qualify for a matchplay tournament over the weekend. Something to set it apart. Maybe if it's matchplay they can put it on some of the older world renowned courses over there that are now deemed too short seeing as they would be playing the man as much as the course.

After watching golf coverage in the US, Sky do a fantastic job with their coverage in comparison.

so with this online streaming on facebox etc can you do simple stuff like you can on your sky box

record it to watch whenever you want
pause, rewind etc
skip through any ads
start from the start rather than when you turn it on

is it live online now somewhere legal like facebook?

All the above is the annoying stuff for me. Golf has luls and slow points, its nice to be able to flick around. Won't be possible when streaming and plugging the laptop into the tele.

This is probably the biggest issue with it.

The viewing experience has been massively reduced.

90% of the golf I watch is recorded due to the numerous ad breaks and the fact that the sport has time between shots.

Shows you how little the people who sold the rights care about the fans considering they've massively reduced the viewing experience.As times go on you are supposed to improve things for your fans not make it worse.

Streaming of live sport is miles behind the comfort of watching on TV these days.

Live coverage now of Rory and Tiger on the range from the official PGA Championship app. They have the shot-tracer on their range shots. Haven't seen that before.
