Missed Payment into Savings Account

    Hi there,

    I'm having to miss a payment into a saving system account today even though I requested that it be closed a few weeks ago.

    I just didn't have the money in it today for it to go out. And now I'm going to be charged for the missed payment. This is now probably going to effect my credit rating too. I've a feeling she cancelled a direct debit for my gym rather than the saving system account.

    We're sorry to hear that this wasn't cancelled. Can you clarify what type of Savings account you have as there may be a notice period for the closure? Did you request the account to be closed through 365 Online through the Withdraw Funds button and then select to close the account?

    We're sorry to hear that this wasn't cancelled. Can you clarify what type of Savings account you have as there may be a notice period for the closure? Did you request the account to be closed through 365 Online through the Withdraw Funds button and then select to close the account?

    Hi Sarah

    It was a GOAL saver account. And I went in to the bank to close it and all she said she could do was cancel the direct debit for it as there was no one around to do it officially for some reason.
