Got an email from Bord Gais with terms and conditions change. Not sure what but this is an out from contract as per their terms and conditions. Might be worth checking out.

By the way...this 175 offer...it states it applies to gas, electricity, and gas+ electricity options. Does the dual option give you 350?

I've just switched from Energia. KwHr rate same as before but added €175 credit. Bonkers.ie and Switcher.ie suggested plans with higher discounts but even with the lower hourly rates, I worked out that the credit more than compensated. Pity the comp sites don't take bonus into account. Means I have to go to the trouble of working it all out!!
