I haven't shot there since i was 16. Jaysus that is a while back.

I don't know much about planning or building laws but i thought if there is an established facility or business in the area before any building work then the established facility/business "supersedes" any future complaint?

The kick in the pants part would be that Fassaroe don't own the land and only rent it. Depending on what lease they have they could find that lease ending soon. I doubt they could match any price offered by a developer. Not saying they intend to buy the range, but if enough money was offfered NOT to renew the lease i can guess which way the land owner would go.

We all know NOTHING stands in the way of those ethical gentlemen, the property speculator/developer, getting his hands on a profit.

Nope. There was a case where a person bought a house beside a dairy. Complained about the early noise, (surprise surprise) judge ordered the dairy to stop the noise
