I've been in a group past year and last week I received an email from Spotify asking me to verify my postcode.

I forwarded postcode given to me by the group owner and today I received email stating I'm now rejected and my Spotify is reverted to a free account.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes ,happened me .
Had previously been in another family and it worked fine.
Now in a different family and they wont accept it .
Going to have to create a new account I think .

I have the free version of spotify and i am eligible to upgrade for the 3 month premium trial at 0.99c p/m after 3 months its €10 p/m. if I upgrade today and cancel at the end of March would I be charged €10?

You can cancel at anytime. You can cancel at the start of the month and continue to use the remainder of the subscription till the end of the month.

You will see the dates clearly in the online account, saying when payment will be due next.
Also if you let it renew by mistake they are good and will refund you if you contact them straight away and say you forgot to cancel.

Single premium is 9.99 per month
Family premium is 14.99 per month (6 persons)

Family is 180 per year e.g 30 per year compared to the 120 you pay on your own!

Quick question, my local Tesco have Spotify vouchers with a 15% discount. If I purchase some and add them to my family account will the €14.99 be deducted from that each month rather than my card?

Location isn't really important lads (not so far as I know anyway) the family account holder just gives everyone a generic address to enter, and they should be grand.

I got a buddy of mine on a family account based in Thailand back in the summer, and he's had zero issues.

For those of you who have setup family accounts in the past few weeks; Spotify are requesting verification (via email the past couple of days) that all members live at the same address by requesting the zip code used on the account, so make sure you have your shít in order

use the wrong zip code and its back to the free version for you

I made that mistake recently. I forgot I had moved and gave the two people I was sharing with my current Eircode, not what I had started the family plan under. they both got kicked out.
I can edit my address, Spotify want me to create a new account.
The people I shared with needed to create new accounts and I invited them back.
