    I'm seriously contemplating a set of Sony MDR1000X headphones to replace an aged Bose AE2 set, and am wondering if there are any boardsie specials on the Sonys?

    Apologies - we do try to offer Boardies preferential pricing where possible - the Euro pricing on the MDR1000X had just been reduced and I can't see a Euro better price online, and the best price I can find from a bricks and mortar supplier in Ireland is €389.

    That's not actually a Euro price, pricespy have taken a sterling price and converted it at the interbank exchange rate, which you wont actually get if you try to purchase it - if you click thru your link you will see its not a Euro price...
