    Hi Everybody,

Looking for a little help with heating and hot water problem.

Heating system was drained to repair leak and after refill no heating or hot-water.

Boiler fires up and flow pipe gets hot at boiler but checking the cylinder in the hot press no not water getting as far as zone valves. (two zones hot water and heating)

Boiler fires up and temp rises then boiler turns off but continues to pump water till temp drops.

Open vented systems - F/E tank is full. No fault indication on boiler. Everything looks like its working except flame indication not staying on as long as would expect.
    Boiler glow flow 30x

    Bled all rads.

Thanks for any pointers or help.

Your sure the pump is circulating ?
Try take out the screw in front of pump n check for air in the pump .

Could also be air in the boiler , there should be a pressure relief valve on top but sometimes leak after you twist them , so maybe jus crack a fitting on the highest point on the boiler pipework ..

Careful also as it could be steam / air / boiling water if the boiler is firing but not pumping away the water ..

Thank you. I will try each of the steps and update the thread. --- Opened the screw on the pump and released the air and heating and hot water are up and running again.

    Thanks for your help TECH85
