Pier fishing and camping Wexford/Waterford

Well folks, Bringing the kids camping and fishing trip soon, And thinking of going to Waterford or Wexford, as close a campsite to the coast I can get. Looking for somewhere to float fish off a pier and a small bit of Mack fishing. Location not set in stone so open to other places too. Anyone know of any good piers to fish…

Well folks,
Bringing the kids camping and fishing trip soon,
And thinking of going to Waterford or Wexford, as close a campsite to the coast I can get.

Anyone know of any good piers to fish from down there? Catch and release, just a trip to keep kids interest up.
Have a beach rod too but not too knowledgeable on that
