    Hey guys,

Looking for some peoples recommendations on comfy spots to read for an hour or two in the city centre

cafes/public places with couches. places that don't mind you staying long provided you obviously buy something.

There was an older thread but probably out of date now with some of the places mentioned.

    Any thoughts?

I would check out Accents on Stephen's Street (I think).
Downstairs it's got loads of comfy sofas, board games etc. It's all set up for long stays

They stay open late, plus they do a mean hot chocolate

All of the Starbucks, you may not like their coffee but they're always comfortable.
The trendy independent cafes seem to be always really uncomfortable and cramped and lots of right angles and very hard furniture. E.g. that Kaph place, the Coffee Angel places, Dublin Barista School etc...

Definitely check out Accents, downstairs. It's such a lovely atmosphere, and they stay open til 11pm most nights!

The Library Bar in the Central Hotel used to be great - haven't been there in years though so can't comment on it now.
