    Hi,

    TitanHQ are hiring a technical support engineer to provide support for our range of UNIX (FreeBSD) and Linux (Ubuntu) based appliances. This is an opportunity for a graduate to learn valuable UNIX skills, or a guru to add their valuable knowledge to the team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

    The successful candidate will:
    - Be fanatical about providing excellent customer support
    - Have a good understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, specifically SMTP, DNS and HTTP/S
    - Be able to conduct research into technical issues and other products
    - Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    - Be able to document procedures and processes to create knowledge-base articles
    - Have excellent spoken and written English, additional languages will be an advantage but are not required
    - Relocate or commute to Galway

    The support team works closely with the development team, so a basic understanding of programming languages will be an advantage.

    We work daily with issues related to Microsoft Exchange (all versions), Apache HTTP Server, Postfix, SpamAssasin, Squid and Postgresql, so any knowledge relating to these will also be an advantage.
